Try out for Pirates Of Penzance, a Gilbert and Sullivan great!  Audition date is March 22 between 7pm and 10 pm at the theatre. Prepare 16 bars and be prepared to dance.  The play runs two months on Thursday through Sundays.

Director is Kent Johnson and Choreography under the direction of Marie Madera.

The auditions will be held on two days for your convenience. The first is May  23rd at 11am (Sunday morning) and the second is May 24th at 7pm (Monday evening). Come to the theater at 11172 Los Alamitos Blvd.  Be able to sixteen bars of your favorite song.  Bring sheet music or a tape/CD.  Wear attire suitable for movement.  If you have a resume and/or headshot photo, please bring them.  Michael Lopez will be the Director.

Youth Summery Repertory will be held between June 21 and July 22, 2004. Two groups will meet Monday thru Thursday. Ages 9-12 meet 9am to noon; ages 13-17 meet 1pm until 4pm.

July 26, 27, and 28 will be the ensemble performances.

Michael Lopez will Direct, Jennifer Story will be the Dance Instructor and Mike Walker will be Music Director. These experienced professionals will challenge, stimulate and nurture those young students who are discovering the world of Musical Theater.

Offered through the Los Alamitos Parks and Recreation, parents are encouraged to sign-up their child for an audition time by calling 562-430-1073.  The auditions are on June 12 starting at 9am. Fees are required.

Headshot and Resume - Please provide a recent head shot (or class picture) stapled to an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper with the students name, age, address and contact telephone numbers. Please also list related activities, school or community productions, church choir, special skills, etc.

Audition - Be able to sing sixteen bars f your favorite song. Marylin Breeze will accompany those students with sheet music. A CD or tape recordings are permissible. Each student should wear loose clothing and be able to move freely.
