Crumbs From The Table Of Joy Promises To Be A Delight

One time only Wednesday April 7th at 8:00 PM, $15/person! Crumbs From The Table Of Joy is a story about growing up poor, black, and religiously and politically militant in Brooklyn does not sound like the basis of a laugh-fest, unless you are entering the world of Lynn Nottages Crumbs From the Table of Joy.

Through the eyes of 17 year-old Ernestine, who has found herself transplanted from rural Florida to Brooklyn in the early 50s, she recounts the race relations, religious zeal, political struggles, and familial entanglements of the Crumps.

Using a clever mix of presentation, realism, and fantasy, the humor necessary to survival in difficult circumstances shines through this piece.

Come see Ninemonths  in a single evening! Nine Months is a unique tour-de-force performance in which one actress has the opportunity to create three very different women with one common experience - pregnancy. As the three women make their periodic visits to the omnipotent Dr. Blake - we live through that experience with them.

You will see a hilarious one woman musicalabout three zany women cleverly wrapped together into a side splitting memory of things past... or, things to come!

A unique approach to revealing cultural differences between black and white relations. She sharing values, beliefs and a host of experiences. Her exceptional style and range of comedy ability is hilarious.  Then we have Ron Meghee, half Korean, half Irish...Yep a dime a dozen. Born in Flint, Michigan and later raised in Orange, CA, Ron started performing comedy at church and corporate venues, where he was discovered to be a natural wit and incurable ham.
